SteamOS is really just awful. Flat out. They distribute it as a fucking Windows executable and zip, and then it requires EFI, and then it won't boot under virtualbox at all and I can only get a terminal out of it. The guest additions don't properly install, so it can never boot to a GUI. Somehow it doesn't save persistent state right, so the drive itself is wiped every other reboot. All I want is a package list off of it! And since its Debian based its entire /etc tree is glyphic to me and my feeble systemd preferred ways.
Really, in my article I have to not recommend steamOS in the first place because its so horribly beta it isn't even funny.
Otherwise, Jeff came back and then left back to Bethlehem again. Ate Pizza.
